IBF World Youth Championship 2024 - Incheon, Korea

Welcome to the beautiful Fiesta Bowling Center in Incheon, Korea, where 38 countries from all around the world have sent 225 talented Youth Athletes to contest the 2024 World Youth Championship. The bowlers are competing in Singles, Baker Doubles, Baker Teams, Mixed Baker Doubles, and Mixed Baker Teams and the format of each division is:

  1. 10 Games Qualifying, Cut to 16 based on scratch pinfall
  2. The top 16 split into two pools of 8 to play 7 games of head to head matchplay (On points: 3 for a Win, 1 for a Draw
  3. The top TWO on points (games won) from each pool progress to Semi Finals
  4. Seeded in the traditional "Winner of A vs 2nd in B", the four semi-finalists contest a best of three head to head match
  5. The winners of the Semi progress to a best of three head to head match for the Gold Medal, and the bowlers eliminated at semis are equal Bronze Medallists
  6. note: There are no ties in Finals - a match resulting in equal pinfall will be resolved by a 9-10 Frame rolloff to determine the game winner before proceeding if necessary
